The gravel road (compacted) was constructed in Zone 64 of the Al-Hamada Desert in 2011 with the aim of facilitating the access of equipment for Gazprom Libya and the movement of exploration teams in the area. Oil exploration is one of the vital activities in desert regions, and providing easy and safe access to exploration areas contributes to achieving the company's strategic goals and increasing the effectiveness of exploration and drilling operations.
